Important CSL Continuing Education Changes Effective 01/01/2018
As of 01/01/2018, Kennedy Seminars, via @HomePrep, can only fulfill 6 of your 12 hours of mandated continuing education.
@HomePrep will work in conjunction of IEE, Wilmington, MA, to fulfill the Live portion of the 12 hours.
When you register on line for the 6 hours, www.athomeprep.com/portal/kennedyseminars@HomePrep will give you the option to choose a Live Date.
Here is the regulation
The Board of Building Regulations and Standards (BBRS) recently approved certain changes to construction supervisor license continuing education requirements as part of the Ninth Edition of the State Building Code (780 CMR).
Licensees may acquire up to a maximum of six hours of continuing education via on-line training. Remaining hours shall be acquired through in-person, classroom training.
CSSL may complete all six hours on-line.
A Licensee will be required to pass a final exam plus periodic exams through the on-line course
Anyone may register for 12 or 10 hours course through December 31, 2017 and will have 6 months to complete the course.
All courses must be completed by June 30, 2018.
Courses taken after January 1, 2018 will be subject to the on-line \ in-class requirements
*At this time, we do not have an instructor to write and present a live program and therefore will be unable to fulfill this new requirement. We will keep searching and keep you posted of any changes.
