CHECK FOR AVAILABILITY BEFORE REGISTERING FOR ANY WEEKDAY CLASS
*Here is a description for the September 12 class:
This 6-hour continuing education course is designed for licensed electricians, electrical contractors, and inspectors seeking a clear, code-based overview of how modern electrical services interact with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage systems (ESS) under the 2026 National Electrical Code (NEC). The course begins with a focused review of electrical service requirements, including disconnecting means, grounding and bonding, labeling, and inspection considerations. Participants are then introduced to photovoltaic systems under NEC Article 690, followed by an introductory overview of energy storage systems and the general requirements of NEC Article 706. The course emphasizes code awareness, system recognition, and safety considerations to support informed installation, inspection, and enforcement decisions without covering system design or advanced calculations.
